LTLprints Co-Founders Kendall Schoenrock and Carsten Petzold were recently invited to the 6ABC Studios where they discussed entrepreneurship and the overall mission of LTLprints at the CEO IntroNet Roundtable. They provided some valuable insight into the world of entrepreneurship and shared their vision and mission for LTLprints as a company.

LTLprints, as a company, believes in the use of technology to make self-expression, personalization and custom decoration of your surroundings easy and affordable. “We believe that art should really transform people’s environments. Not only the homes, but also their offices. This creative drive is reflected on the website and in the work we do,” stated Carsten Petzold.

 

Carsten got the opportunity to speak about the company as a whole and also was able to discuss how the US is doing in relation to the rest of the world in support of entrepreneurship. Given his past experience with moving a new company from Germany to the USA, Carsten was able to provide valuable insight into this process at the CEO roundtable event.

Kendall Schoenrock also touched on the vision of LTLprints and the whole idea behind the entrepreneurial venture. “Any consumer is trying to personalize or decorate their space. When we started this business, we started with the vision: How do we enable the online customer to customize, personalize their space and really speak out about who they are.”

 

Kendall spoke about a few of his favorite clients and partners, including Mary Ann & The Father’s House in Rochester, NY. He then got the opportunity to speak at the CEO roundtable about his experiences as a co-founder and more specifically what to let go of and how to do it as your company grows and expands.

Kevin came to LTLprints with an idea to turn his passion and love of cycling into art for his home. “After reading an article about art reflecting the things in your life that you love, I turned to LTLprints to help create a piece of art for me. I was looking to have a typography bike image in my home,” stated Kevin. “I explained my goals and LTLprints responded with amazing service, support and most importantly creative thinking.”

With this idea for typography, LTLprints created an amazing piece where each part of a bicycle was spelled out in the shape of that specific part. This would then all come together to form a bicycle shape out of specific words of pieces and parts. Using vinyl lettering, which can be easily contour cut, the shape was assembled and the final proof was approved. The decal then came on a masking layer that allowed all the letters and words to be aligned perfectly for transfer to the wall.

“The print from LTLprints is now the centerpiece of our living room and the best conversation piece I’ve ever had. Going above and beyond, LTLprints helped me realize my vision and convert my thoughts and ideas into reality. I couldn’t be more happy with the result!” said Kevin. The wall decal came out great and we couldn’t be more happy with the results either!

Managed Solution was looking to liven up their offices in a quick, easy and affordable way. The CEO, Sean Ferrel, decided to run the company like a team, so they had an initial vision for a baseball mural to incorporate the company positions. They have coaches (managers) and position players (specialists) all working together to achieve the goals of the company and to essentially win the game.

With the help of LTLprints, they were able to decide on a huge corner-to-corner wall mural of a baseball field. We were specifically able to find them an image from the outfield wall, which gave the impression of being right on the field. “We decided to decorate our conference room to reflect this theme we work and live by.  We have a pretty large conference room with large blank walls that I knew would be perfect to put a mural on one of them”, stated Laura Shafer, Director of Operations.  “I did a quick internet search to find a company but none were user friendly and they didn’t provide prices.  You website was really easy to use and you had the best library of images for me to choose from”

“I placed my order and then worked with Kendall to perfect it and make sure I had the right image and size.  I really wanted a picture that looked like you were on the field in the middle of a baseball game and he helped find the perfect one.  It was quite easy to install the panels and to the right of our wall mural we added a chalkboard where we can write our employee’s names as part of our company roster.”

“In addition to the wall mural, we also put up a baseball diamond on the wall, Solution Stadium, that represents all the things we do to work together and be successful as a company.  We unveiled all of this at a company lunch on Friday where we served hotdogs, nachos and popcorn just like at a baseball game.  Our employees loved it!  They were amazed at the mural and it is the perfect visual representation of our work philosophy.  Work Hard, Play Hard, Go Team.”

Melissa Stafford, Director of Carrie Haddad Photographs, initially came to LTLprints looking to enhance their gallery and storefront. An exhibition was taking place and they wanted to install a very large mural in the storefront windows to attract customers and to bring awareness to their gallery and project.

The exhibition was called “Ordinary Things” and with the help of LTLprints, they decided to go with a very large print of one of the photographs being featured. The photograph was converted into a large, two paneled mural and was installed on an extension wall, just behind the storefront windows and near the entrance to the galley.

“I just wanted to let you know that I received the print first thing this morning and we already have it installed – it looks great!!” stated Melissa. “I love the product, I am extremely pleased with how it came out and I will most definitely be using (and recommending) LTL in the future.
